Suspects sought in Fox Chase, Rhawnhurst bank robberies [video]

Police in the 7th and 2nd districts are looking for the suspects in two separate robberies.

The first took place March 13 at the Trumark Financial credit union located at 7306 Castor Ave. around 7:30 p.m. A suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash after handing the teller a demand note.

He is described as a black or Hispanic male with a light complexion, and is about 5’11” to 6′ tall with a stocky build. He was wearing a green and black coat and a tan hat at the time of the robbery, and had a beard/goatee.

The second robbery happened April 5 at the Beneficial Bank located at 1411 Rhawn St. around 2 p.m. That suspect fled in a black SUV with an undisclosed amount of cash after showing the teller a handgun.

He is described as a black male about 40 years old and 6′ with a stocky build. He was wearing a gray hoodie, red baseball hat, blue jeans and dark-colored work boots at the time of the robbery.
