Students team up with business owners to bring foot traffic to Main Street

    What does it take to bring foot traffic to Manayunk’s Main Street? A team of students from Philadelphia University suggests in-store presence is all about web presence.

    It’s one idea being floated by business students from the university as they compete to help Manayunk merchants.

    NewsWorks’ Max Matza talked to business owners and students who are looking for ways to bridge the gap between Manayunk’s nightlife and its older shoppers and drive more customers to Main Street. The winning student group will be announced Tuesday.
