Just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday, two employees were leaving China Garden restaurant on the 8100 block of Stenton Ave. through the rear entrance when they were rushed by two black males hiding in the alleyway.

At the point of handgun, the employees were forced to the ground and restrained with duct tape, according to police reports from the Northwest Philadelphia incident.

The suspects made off with an estimated $1,500 cash, an iPad, two wallets and a carton of Newport cigarettes before fleeing in an unknown direction.

Both suspects are described as being thin black males armed with black handguns and knives. Police reports also indicate both wore black gloves and had hoodies pulled over their faces at the time of the robbery.
