State surveying farms on providing food for schools

The state Department of Agriculture is trying to get more Delaware farmers to take part in the Farm-to-School effort to provide fresh, local foods to Delaware students.
They’re surveying farmers to determine the awareness and interest in farm-to-school opportunities. The results will be used in part of the state’s Farm to School Summit in March.
