New Jersey State Police say they have seized more than $1 million worth of heroin at a home in Ocean County.

Artemio Gayton is charged with possession of heroin and possession with intent to distribute.

The 43-year-old Manchester Township man was arrested Wednesday following a traffic stop. They say 10 kilograms of heroin were later seized at his home.

Authorities say Gayton was later released pending a court hearing. A telephone number for him could not be located Wednesday and it wasn’t known if he’s retained an attorney.
