St. Martin’s choir camp performs at historic Old City church

Children from Church of St.Martin-in-the-Fields Choir Camp performed at the historic Christ Church in Old City.

Almost 60 kids enrolled this year for a week of music, fun, games and worship at a camp provided by the church. the camp culminated with the kids’ performance in Old City.

The musical director of the church, Erik Meyer, who teaches kids the basics of choral singing and leading worship says, “We have wide variety of children from all kinds of schools. Some schools have strong music programs, some are under resourced, so we wanted to offer a program for all the children in the neighborhood.”
