Small business gets help from federal grant

Delaware will get nearly $250,000 to help small businesses in the state export their products overseas.

The State Trade and Export Promotion Grant is designed to increase the number of small businesses in Delaware that are exporting their products, and increase the value of products being sent overseas for companies already exporting.  The grant is part of a $90 million three-year initiative sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration nationwide.  Delaware leaders will officially announce the grant award at the state office building in Wilmington today at noon.
