Six arrested in NASCAR DUI enforcement
Six people were arrested for DUI during checkpoints centered around the NASCAR weekend in Dover. The State Office of Highway Safety says in addition to the six DUI arrests, one citation was issued for underage drinking. The checkpoint also result in the arrest of two wanted individuals and two drug arrests. Since Checkpoint Strikeforce campaign started in July, 179 people have been arrested for DUI. There have been more than 3,000 DUI arrests statewide since January.
