Silverliner foibles

As the Philadelphia Inquirer reported this morning, SEPTA’s only new Silverliner V train in service is still experiencing problems.

“The three-car train that was put into revenue service Oct. 29 is plagued with communications glitches and sometimes has trouble getting up hills. The wheels have a tendency to slip during acceleration.”

Have any of you out there had the chance to ride on any of the new train cars? Feed the Feed: what was your experience like? Did anyone start chanting, “I think I can, I think I can?”
