SEPTA bus accident leaves 16 injured in Germantown

NewsWorks content partner NBC10 has reported that 16 people suffered minor injuries when a SEPTA Route 23 bus was rear-ended by a truck in Germantown on Wednesday morning.

Those injured in the 10:35 a.m. collision at Germantown and Windrim avenues include the driver and 15 passengers, the report stated. Police said both drivers were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Calls to SEPTA were not immediately returned Wednesday afternoon. NewsWorks will update the story if any new information is made available.
