Sen. Carper unveils newly redesigned website

Delaware Senator Tom Carper‘s website got a multi-media makeover. A redesign Sen. Carper says that better serves Delawareans.

Carper commutes between Delaware and Washington D.C. every week and says the updated site provides a virtual office for his constituents, complete with photos and videos, so they can see what he’s working on and how they can get more involved.

“This redesigned website will help ensure that my constituents can quickly and easily access the information they need, whether it is on a bill that I’ve sponsored, applying for a grant or academy nomination or to get news on a natural disaster.”

Carper says Delawareans can also learn more about Sen. Carper’s policy positions, look up his voting record and communicate more easily with him via email by way of an online form linked to the site.

“This new and improved website, along with my e-newsletter and several social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Flicker and YouTube, helps me to more effectively communicate with my constituents and in doing so, hopefully allows me to better serve them.”

The website redesign coincides with the launch of Sen. Carper’s officer Twitter account: @SenatorCarper.
