Sen. Carper in Dover
Delaware Sen. Tom Carper, D-Del, will visit two locations in Dover Tuesday.
Sen. Carper plans to visit the Dover VA community based outpatient clinic at 1 p.m. At the clinic, he will meet with the new Director of the Wilmington VA Medical Center, Daniel Hendee, as well as tour the veterans health care facility.
About an hour later, at 2:15 p.m., Sen. Carper is scheduled to take a guided tour of the new Dover Public Library located on Loockerman Plaza. Library Director Margie Cyr and Dover Mayor Carleton Carey will lead the tour. The new facility is set to open Sept. 20.
