Sea Witch Festival celebrates 25 years in Rehoboth [gallery]

Hundreds turned out to celebrate the 25th annual Sea Witch Halloween and Fiddlers Festival in Rehoboth this weekend.

The weather was more than cooperative for the special 25th anniversary edition of the festival. From a costume parade to trick or treating and musical entertainment, there was plenty to see and do.

The event also included old fashioned beach games like the hula twist-off and the peanut on the nose race.

The annual event has drawn accolades from a number of different groups as it brings lots of people to the Delaware beach area at a time when the number visitors typically dwindles. The festival has been named Outstanding Special Event in the Delaware Tourism Awards. State tourism leaders have also named the festival an Annual Hall of Fame Event.
