Scholarships available for Latino high schoolers

Latino high school seniors in Pennsylvania, South Jersey and Delaware can now apply for college scholarships offered through the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the McDonald’s Owner/Operators of the Greater Philadelphia Region.

Tek Lado reports the RMHC/HACER scholarship program is offering 15 scholarships to qualified Latino students. Two students will be awarded $5,000 each, and 13 will be given $1,000 each.

Applications are due later this month, and must include high school transcripts, a letter of recommendation and a personal statement detailing community involvement.
