Happy Halloween, Philly. We get a really chilly morning for the last day of October, but after Saturday’s nasty snowy mess, it’s not bad at all. Be sure to bundle up your little ghosts so they don’t shiver under their sheets too much.

Instead of shaking down your neighbors for candy tonight, Philabundance is asking people to collect spare change for Halloween this year to help combat hunger in the Philadelphia region. Every $1 raised provides two meals. Philabundance’s Scare Hunger toolkit can be found online.

Big news for the Delaware Waterfront late last week, reports Kellie Patrick Gates for PlanPhilly:

• The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation unanimously approved the Master Plan for the Central Delaware, sending the plan to the Planning Commission.
• RBA Group was hired to design the multi-use recreational trail along the waterfront. The trail will link the waterfront’s public spaces.
• Studio Bryan Hanes was selected to design the Columbia Avenue Connector, the next “connector street” drawing people under I-95 toward the Delaware River. Studio Bryan Hanes developed the master plan for Penn Treaty Park, at the base of Columbia Avenue.

The days of free parking in FDR Park for Eagles games are over, reports The Daily News. FDR Park is now charging everyone $30 to park there on days the Eagles play at home.
