Roxborough car crash victim identified as Christian Sheridan of Conshohocken

10 a.m. update:  Philadelphia Police have released the identity of the victim in yesterday’s car crash on Henry Avenue.  

Spokeswoman Christine O’Brien said Christian Sheridan, 22, of Conshohocken was killed around 1:30 p.m. after switching lanes, swerving into oncoming traffic and colliding with a 1998 Ford Fiso on the 6000 block of Henry Avenue.

O’Brien says Sheridan was from the 400 block of East 10th Street.

The police report indicates that Sheridan was traveling at a high rate of speed in a ’96 Volkswagen GTI at the time of the accident.

He was pronounded dead at Temple University Hospital.  

Police say the driver of the other vehicle suffered no major injuries but had a few bumps and bruises. 

The accident is still under investigation.
