Roxborough’s ‘Rockin’ The Ridge’ brings more than 200 classic cars to Gorgas Park

More than 200 classic cars lined Ridge Avenue in Roxborough Saturday for the 10th annual Rockin’ The Ridge car show.

The annual event, held on Mother’s Day weekend every year, is organized by the Roxborough Ridge Runners, a local car club which donates money to nonprofit organizations in the community.

John Davis, Sr., a member of the Roxborough Ridge Runners, said the final count of money raised from this weekend’s event will be tallied at Wednesday’s car club meeting at the police station.

Community Correspondent Johanna Austin captured these scenes throughout Ridge Avenue on Saturday.
