Results are in for Dover’s City Council elections

A former Mayor of Dover will now be joining City Council, as voters have settled elections in three districts and for one at-large seat.

Tuesday’s election sends Thomas Leary to another term on Council as an at-large member.  Former Mayor James Hutchison won the election in the First District.  William Hare topped incumbent Eugene Ruane and two other candidates in the Second District.  Voters in the Third District elected Sean Lynn, while David Anderson defeated two candidates in the Fourth District.
