Recruitment has begun for local Boy Scout groups

The Cradle of Liberty Council Boy Scouts of America has already begun fall registration for Boy Scout troops and packs, and those interested in signing up are encouraged to do so throughout September and October.

Groups are open in Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware counties, and though you can find your closest troop on the COLBSA website, families can enroll with the troop that best meets their needs.

Boys ages 7 to 10 or in first through fifth grades are eligible to register as Cub Scouts, and boys ages 11 or older can register to join the Boy Scouts. Registration is open year round, but the local packs will host open houses this month and next.
