Quidditch brings a bit of Harry Potter to real life
Harry Potter fans made their way to Chestnut Hill College on Saturday, October 15 for the second annual Brotherly Love Quidditch tournament. Different colleges and community teams were competing to win the tournament which was modeled after a game in the Harry Potter books. The event, which was free and open to the public, was filled with families and college athletes dressed in their best Harry Potter gear.
The game, that has a lot of resemblance with rugby, is played on broomsticks and even though just like any other sport it has a competitive side to it, the feeling of joy and excitement was enveloping the fields of Chestnut Hill College.
