Punkin’ Chunkin’ turns 25

In a corn field in Bridgeville, Delaware, a band of gourd warriors pull their machines up to the line, their goal?  To hurl a pumpkin further than the other teams.  This weekend marks the 25th anniversary of this event as the “Pumkin Chunkin World Championship” takes place.  We sent photojournalist Paul Parmelee goes to the front lines to get us a sense of what goes on at this unique event.
