Protesters plan rally targeting MSNBC at Comcast shareholder meeting

Tea party organizers have invited protesters to Comcast’s annual shareholders meeting in Philadelphia Wednesday morning.

Anastasia Przybylski, a Pennsylvania organizer for FreedomWorks, plans to bring a vanful of people to demonstrate outside the Kimmel Center in downtown Philadelphia.

She calls Comcast’s MSNBC channel a mouthpiece for the Obama administration.

“The goal is to show up at the shareholder meeting and let them know we’re unhappy their company is so left leaning and we’d like to see balance,” she explained.

She downplayed expectations for attendance early on a weekday morning, estimating perhaps “dozens” will show up.

National tea party activists Tom and Deneen Borelli are Comcast shareholders and will attend the meeting inside.

Comcast representatives could not be reached for comment.
