Positive West Nile samples in Burlington County

Parts of Burlington County will be sprayed for mosquito control following the discovery of four positive samples of West Nile Virus in the area.

The samples were the first positive ones of the summer to be found in the area, Moorestown Patch reports, and were found in traps near sewage treatment plants in Beverly Evesham and Mapleshade, and along County Route 542 in Washington Township.

Misting begins tomorrow after 6 p.m. within a half mile of the treatment plants and a half mile of mile marker 16 on County Route 542.
