Police seek suspect who used slingshot to enter Manayunk store

Police are looking to identify a suspect that burglarized the Palm Tree Market, 4366 Cresson St. in Manayunk, just before 5 a.m. on Dec. 11. The suspect, described as a white male with thin build, was seen breaking the front door glass of the business on surveillance footage.

He spent 45 minutes attempting to break the glass with a slingshot and then entered the store, taking Dutch Master Cigars and $120 in loose change. Two walkie-talkies were found on the scene. 

The suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and baggy blue jeans with a thick black belt.
