Police search for man who robbed Rhawnhurst bank

Police are looking for help to identify and capture the man who robbed a Police & Fire Federal Credit Union branch in Rhawnhurst. The suspect got away with $2,500.

The man entered the branch on the 7500-block of Castor Avenue and demanded cash with a note. He’s described as a white male in his 20s, and can been seen in surveillance footage wearing a black hoodie, a black hat with a gray logo on the front and white gloves with red tips.

Anyone with information should call the FBI Hotline at 215-418-4000, or 911 if they see him.
