Police report: Teenager reports abduction attempt in Holmesburg
The Special Victims Unit has some details from a report filed in the 15th District from a teenager who may have thwarted an abduction attempt.
The report reads:
“14-year-old female reports that while walking [on the 4700-block of Hartel Avenue], an unknown male exited a blue SUV and approached her and said “get in the car, babe.” She ran away and the male drove away towards Rhawn Street. Offender: w/m, 40 years old, brown hair,
wearing a white collared shirt and had long fingernails. Vehicle is described as a blue SUV.”
