Surveillance video of Chestnut Hill robbery released
This afternoon police released surveillance video of a Dec 26, 2011 armed robbery of the Chestnut Hill Radio Shack at 7723 Crittenden St. The store is located in a shopping plaza that includes a Pathmark and the Market Square Station post office.
Northwest Detectives say two men entered the store around 9 p.m. just as employees were preparing to lock the doors. The first suspect pulled a handgun and pointed it at the employees forcing them to the rear of the store. The suspects took televisions, laptop computers and GPS devices and placed them in trash bags and fled the store through the rear door in an unknown direction.
Suspect #1 Black male, wearing baggy clothing, black jacket, tan hoody, dark jeans, Timberland boots, black face mask, black gloves and a thick beard with orange highlights.
Suspect #2 Black male, tall, thin build, gray hoody, blue jeans,Timberland boots, face mask and a skully hat.
The two suspects are also involved in two other Radio Shack robberies shown in the video above.
