Police hold prayer walk in Northwest Philly to promote unity [gallery]

Police, chaplains and community members gathered in Germantown on Friday at the site of the Nov. 2014 abduction of Carlesha Freeland Gaither to hold a prayer walk for peace.

Officers from the 14th and 39th Police Districts came together for the one-hour walk through the neighborhood. Holding hands, the group stopped at various points to pray for unity and goodwill.
