Police find cocaine in prosthetic leg

Dover Police discovered the drugs inside a man’s prosthetic leg during a traffic stop on Monday.

A Dover Police K9 detected narcotics inside a car stopped Monday afternoon near the intersection of McKee and South College Roads. After more investigation, police said they found 28.7 grams of cocaine inside a prosthetic leg belonging to 39-year-old Marlow Holmes, a passenger in the car.

Holmes, who is from Dover, now faces charges including possession with intent to deliver cocaine and other drug counts.

He’s being held on $81,000 secured bond.
