Fire officials repond to Kalos Street after man puts fist through window

Yellow police tape strung between two homes in the Wissahickon section of Philadelphia had some neighbors wondering what went wrong on their block this week.

The neighbors, who declined to comment on the situation, live on a quiet block of Kalos Street near Rochelle Avenue.

Philadelphia fire officials say a crew was called to the scene at 11:46 p.m. on Tuesday after a neighbor reported the sound of broken glass. The responding company said they found an adult male in the alley on Kalos Street who reportedly had overdosed.

The sound of broken glass was reported to be the man “putting his first through the window” causing deep lacerations on his arm.
