Phone scam

The Burlington County Chamber of Commerce has issued a warning to county businesses and residents about a phone scam. Scammers are calling from the fictional Burlington County Emergency Guide and representing themselves as members of the Sheriff’s Office and Chamber. The Burlington County Times reports four phony calls have been reported since Monday. Those targeted are asked to call Consumer Affairs at 609-265-505.
