Philly man charged in snow shoveling fight, barricade

Philadelphia police say a dispute between neighbors over snow shoveling led one man to get a gun, and later barricade himself inside a home when police arrived.

They say the 50-year-old man was arrested after a brief negotiation with police Friday afternoon in the city’s Overbrook section.

Police say the man had brandished a box cutter and a gun during the argument with his neighbor. However, no injuries are reported.

The suspect’s name is not immediately available.
