Philadelphia police ID 3 victims in deadly high-speed crash

Authorities have identified the three people killed in a high-speed crash that left a car split in half in Philadelphia.

Police say 17-year-olds Sabrina Rhoads and Yvette Gonzalez were ejected and pronounced dead Wednesday night. Twenty-year-old Felipe Hernandez was trapped in the vehicle and died at the scene.

A 17-year-old Philadelphia boy was found in the roadway with severe head trauma and is in critical condition. The vehicle’s 20-year-old driver walked away from the crash and went to the hospital hours later.

Investigators initially said the crash was a result of drag racing. But Capt. John Wilczynski says police don’t know if that’s the case.
