PennDOT opens rebuilt Holme Avenue Bridge

From the department of surprisingly efficient public projects:

Back in September, EOTS mentioned that PennDOT predicted that its reconstruction of the Holme Avenue Bridge in Holme Circle would finish well ahead of schedule. True to its word, our friends at NEast Philly report PennDOT opened the bridge to traffic on Tuesday after being closed for months. And, even though the new bridge looks a lot like the old bridge, it’s structurally sound and takes away Holme Circle’s traffic detours.
