Pastorius Park concert featuring The Dukes of Destiny cancelled
Wednesday night’s Pastorius Park concert in Chestnut Hill is cancelled. Mark Brooks with Bauder Audio Systems told NewsWorks that its sound system got wet and won’t work properly. The concert featuring he Dukes of Destiny was scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
A recording on the Chestnut Hill Community Association (CHCA) telephone line confirms the cancellation. 215-248-8810
The concert will not be rescheduled. Julie Byrne, who organizes the summer concert series for CHCA, told NewsWorks, “We can’t reschedule. We don’t have a Pastorius permit beyond this evening.”
