Partial solar eclipse (Photos)

Yesterday’s partial solar eclipse could be seen by early birds on the East Coast. Since it was a minor eclipse for the U.S., those not aware of the event probably didn’t even notice anything. But several contributors to Jersey Shore Hurricane News were able to record the event that looked like a small bite taken out of the sun.

The eclipse for the East Coast occurred Sun, Nov 3, 2013 from Sunrise: 6:29 a.m. – through 7:11 a.m. Photos 1-4 were all taken in New Jersey.

The western portions of Europe and Africa saw the greatest eclipse yesterday afternoon local time. Photo 5 is a multiple exposure taken from Kenya and the photo 6 is from Israel.
