Parade to close portion of Route 35 in Mantoloking early this afternoon

Motorists should plan for significant traffic delays on the Route 35 southbound lanes early this afternoon, police say.
The closure between noon and 12:30 p.m. is to accommodate Mantoloking’s July 4th parade.
Police say to expect significant traffic delays during the parade and residual delays after.
“If you are planning on traveling to the barrier island on Saturday afternoon you may want to take an alternate route to avoid delays,” according to police.
