Dear Parents/Guardians and Parishioners,
Today, Bishop Timothy Senior informed me that Archbishop Chaput has accepted the recommendation of the Review Board and granted our appeal. Our Mother of Consolation School will continue to operate as a Parish School. What a wonderful way for us to begin our 150th Anniversary Celebration!
The success of our appeal was a team effort, which reflected the reality of our growth as a school over the past five years. From researching to praying, the members of our school and our parish community came together in support of our Parish School. Thank You!
I thank Archbishop Chaput for granting this appeal, the Review Board for its recommendation, and our school families, faculty, staff & parishioners for your support during this anxious time. Most especially, however, I thank the members of our Appeal Team whose research and preparations were the driving force behind our review board presentation. As I said before, we wowed them! Our research was topnotch, our facts irrefutable, our plans realistic, our goals obtainable. Thank You!

Francis de Sales encourages us to always look for the hand of God at work. Perhaps the hand of God is drawing us closer together and helping us to realize, once again, the gift that we have in our Parish School; a gift that we may not have appreciated as much as we could. Through this experience, we have grown in our appreciation for our school and our mission as a Parish School, for this we give thanks to God!
Our work in not ended, it has just begun. We need to continue to build on the accomplishments of the past five years, securing a growth-filled future in the ministry of Catholic education as a Parish School.
