Officials: Small plane crashes in Camden County; 2 injured

Authorities say a small plane has crashed behind a home in Camden County.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Arlene Salac says the Ercoupe 415-C plane crashed occurred around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday on East Linden Avenue in Lindenwold. She said the plane had departed the Flying W Airport in Medford.

Officials say two people were in the plane and both were conscious when they were extricated from the aircraft. Both have been taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, but further details on their conditions have not been disclosed.

Authorities say it did not appear that anyone on the ground was injured in the accident.
