Ocean County, NJ authorities charge man with restaurant murder

Authorities in Ocean County have made an arrest in the murder of a man found inside a restaurant.

Hector Calderon was arrested Friday at around noon at his home in Freehold.

The 47-year-old Calderon is charged with murder and weapons offenses. He was jailed in lieu of $1 million cash bail.

The investigation began when Jackson Township police responded to a call Thursday night at approximately 11 p.m. about an injured man at the Casanova Ristorante. They discovered the body of 34-year-old Jackson resident Peyman Sanandaji inside the restaurant.
