Numerous recent vehicle burglaries in Toms River

Make sure you lock your vehicles, the Toms River Police Department warns.

During the past weekened, 10 vehicles were entered during the overnight hours in the municipality, according to department spokesman Ralph Stocco.

The burglaries occurred in the areas east and west of Vaughn Avenue between Route 37 and Bay Avenue, he said.

Cash, change, and personal property were taken from the unlocked vehicles, Stocco said.
