North Light brings joy to needy
With many residents of Northwest Philadelphia in need this holiday season, it’s a constant struggle to keep the cupboards full at North Light Community Center in Manayunk.
Over the last year, the number of people in need of food doubled. More than half of those were first-timers.
In a partnership with Aramark and Villanova, North Light Community Center was able to provide those in need with some help for the holidays.
For Chanel Broadus, single mother of two and student at Drexel University, North Light has given her something to be thankful for.
