Nor’easter closures, cancellations and delays

These are some of the closures and delays for Friday in the wake of a nor’easter that slammed the region. As of 5 a.m. the official snow measurement from the Philadelphia International Airport was 11.8 inches. As always, call ahead or check a businesses website to see if they are open.



Students were told to stay home from Philadelphia School District and Archdiocese schools on Friday. For other delays and school closures in the area check NBC’s listing.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus presents LEGENDS! performance at Wells Fargo Center on Friday at 10:30 a.m. has been canceled . Patrons who have tickets to this performance as well as Friday night’s 7 p.m. performance, which will take place as scheduled, may bring their tickets to the Wells Fargo Center Box Office to exchange their tickets for one of the remaining nine performances through Sunday at 7 p.m.

KENT COUNTYDover Air Force Base – Day-shift emergency and MEL1 personnel should report at their normally scheduled times. MEL2 and MEL3 personnel reporting time has been delayed three hours, but should arrive no later than 11 a.m. unless otherwise directed by squadron comma
