No service on Media/Elwyn Regional Rail line

    Heads up Media/Elwyn train riders, this just in from SEPTA:

    “Service on SEPTA’s Media/Elwyn Regional Rail Line has been suspended in both directions.  A train struck a pedestrian just north of Lansdowne Station at approximately 6:02 a.m. The pedestrian has died. The incident is still under investigation. No further details are available at this time.”

      “Inbound service to Philadelphia on SEPTA’s Media/Elwyn Regional Rail Line resumed with train #9344, scheduled to leave Media at 8:33 a.m. Passengers will experience residual delays following the earlier suspension of this line.  At approximately 6:02 a.m., a female was struck and killed by an inbound train, just north of Lansdowne Station The incident is still under investigation.”

    “Outbound service from Philadelphia to Media/Elwyn on SEPTA’s Media/Elwyn line has resumed with train #7327.  Passengers may experience residual delays as service returns to normal.”
