N.J. student stranded at sea for 16 hours

A college student from South Jersey is now safe after being stranded at sea for 16 hours off the coast of Honduras.

Heather Barnes, a college student at the New College of Florida, was collecting coral samples for a project early Friday morning when she started to cramp and was pushed out to sea.

Barnes eventually reached land, where two people gave her water and brought her back to where she was staying. She is now recovering from sunburn and jellyfish stings in Florida.
