NJ Sandy fund to receive donation from United Arab Emirates

The Press of Atlantic City reports that “officials from the United Arab Emirates plan to make a sizeable donation to the charity founded by Gov. Chris Christie’s wife to help those impacted by Superstorm Sandy.”

The fund was created to help with needs not covered by insurance or government aid and the UAE’s gift will be used to repair and enhance technology infrastructure at schools impacted by the storm. The fund has so far received $38 million in donations from 29,000 people.
