Newark unveils new hybrid vehicles

Newark unveils three new hybrid vehicles that will join the city’s fleet.

Part of the funding for the vehicles comes from a grant through the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.  The three Toyota Camry cars will be used in the Newark Parks and Recreation Department and the Electric Department.  The new hybrids will help Newark save money on rising gas prices and reduce emissions.
