Newark hosts open house on master plan

Newark residents can have their say on the city’s Comprehensive Development Plan during an open house session this afternoon.  The public is invited to stop by the Newark Municipal Building from 4 to 7 p.m. to review exhibits and vote on their preferences.  The development plan is described by Newark officials as “a strategic policy document that provides a vision for the community’s future, addresses both short-term and long-term planning concerns, and provides a rational basis for local land use decisions.”
