A new service promises to offer valet parking almost anywhere you want in Center City.

Luxe is a smartphone-based service designed to give drivers valet by request.

“To use Luxe, you simply pull up the app and request a valet at the beginning of your trip into Center City Philadelphia,” said Amy Yozviak, who manages the service in Philadelphia. “A Luxe valet will meet you at your destination in a blue Luxe polo and park your car in a secure lot or garage.”

The service costs $5 an hour with a maximum of $20 a day, Yozviak said.  Overnight parking adds $10  to the tab.  Drivers are vetted to make sure they are responsible, she said. But, just in case, the service has a $5 million insurance policy.
