New mobile phone application helps Delawareans find fresh farm goods

Are you looking to find the freshest farm produce, or even fresh-baked goods in Delaware?  Now, there’s an app for that.

The Delaware Department of Agriculture and the Government Information Center have developed a mobile phone application at which you can locate Delaware Fresh tomatoes, corn, peaches, watermelons, cucumbers and more.  Even if it’s fruit baked into a pie, it’s available on the Delaware Fresh app, free to i-phone users.  It lists market locations, hours and phone numbers.  Delaware Secretary of Agriculture Ed Kee said “the app is a great way to connect today’s generation of technology smart consumers with the best Delaware has to offer.”
